Egyptian Trip - Year 3

Our visit to the Castle Museum in Norwich with the focus on Egypt was a great success! It was educational, aspirational and fun! The main question of the visit, where pupils were asked to think of their answer at the end of the experience was: ‘Should tombs be uncovered by archaeologists so that they can share their knowledge with the world? Or should tombs be left alone?

Crucial Crew - Year 6

On Thursday 10th March, our Year 6 pupils spent the morning at the 'Crucial Crew' event at Mildenhall Stadium.  The event was organised by a number of local and national organisations including Forest Heath Crime Prevention Panel; Suffolk Fire Service; FHDC Community Safety Partnership; UK Power Networks; Suffolk County Council; Suffolk Constabulary; The Women’s Institute and The Red Cross.

The children participated in a series of activities, including learning how to make a 999 call; fire safety; basic first aid; how to stay safe online; how to keep property safe and exploring issues around criminal damage and anti-social behaviour.

Norwich Castle Visit 2016 - Year 1

On Tuesday 1st March, our Year 1 pupils participated in a visit to Norwich Castle.  The visit was the culmination of their 'Castles' topic and allowed them the opportunity to learn more about everyday life in a castle.

BT Education Advanced CoSpace Day


 

On Friday 9th January, seven of our Year 6 pupils participated in an 'Advanced CoSpace Day' organised by BT Education.  This was a follow up to the 'Taster Day' in October at which they were so successful.

West Suffolk Schools' Carol Service

On Tuesday 1st December, fourteen of our KS2 pupils participated in the West Suffolk Schools' Carol Service at St. Edmundsbury Cathedral.  They will all also be soloists in our KS2 Christingle Service on Wednesday 16th December.
